- We purchased our Alpacas in 1997. As of January 2002, our total
herd is 100 Alpacas with 47 cria due in 2002.
- Our herd consists of Peruvian, Bolivian and Chilean bloodlines
and various crosses of all three. We have over 20 different bloodlines
with 6 totally unrelated herdsires.
- Two of our proven herdsires are of Julio Barreda’s famous Accoyo
bloodlines. Julio, a son of Vengador and Grandson of Shere Khan,
and Thunderbolt, son of White Lightening, are our latest additions.
- We believe that crossing the finest of the Peruvians with our
colored alpacas is the means of obtaining superior fibered alpacas
in all the natural ranges of color that the alpaca is capable
of producing.
