Description: Here is a very nice bred maiden female that we are very reluctant to part with. Tembi was one of the best of our 2005 cria crop. Not only does she exhibit all the attributes one would want for a high end white breeding program, her genetics are phenomenal. She is incredibly fine with a Hemmingway style high frequency crimped fleece that displays small match stick styled bundles with high luster and soft handle. That is because she has both Legacy and Caligula in her genetics and as a bonus she is line bred back to our Legacy herdsire "Snowmass Perfection".

Tembi was sired by PCA Santorini of our Caligula line. Santorini has been producing show ring high quality progeny for our farm. Her dam Manda is a very pretty fawn female sired by "Legacy's Golden Boy" of our 4Peruvian Legacy line. 4Peruvian Legacy still has the distinction of being the highest selling stud alpaca in the world! At 6 years of age Manda maintains a 25.3 micron with a CV of 17.0, a fleece that feels like silk. View Santorini's stats on our herdsire page. Golden Boy at age 9 still maintains a 22 - 23 micron fleece with a 17-18 CV. These genetics have fineness throughout. It does not hurt to have PPeruvian Guellermo as her great grandsire either.
