Description: You want to add density to your herd? This is your boy! Tahoma is extremely dense with a very soft handle, good fineness and very nice match stick style bundling. Very correct phenotype on a medium boned frame with solid black eyes and a perfect bite. His grand sire, PPeruvian Guellermo is extremely dense as is his dam Shanta and Tahoma has definitely inherited this trait as well. We have the consistency of Golden Boy and Guellermo in this boy. All of Shanta's progeny to date have been very high quality.
We are not sure why we neglected to put Tahoma in our US show string in spring 2007 but in the fall of 2007 Tahoma confirmed our suspicions. In Lloydminster he won Grand Champion Fawn Male and in the 2007 Northlands Alpaca Odyssey Show he won Reserve Grand Champion Fawn Male and in the 2008 Manitoba Keystone Classic he won Grand Champion Fawn Male.
He has started his breeding career and has settled several females to date. We are excited about his future in our breeding program
