Description: We think very highly of this young macho and so do the judges and anyone that takes a look at him. This boy is a genetic fusion of some of the very best genetics in the North American alpaca industry. Peruvian Bonanza, 4Peruvian Legacy, PPeruvian Pluro on the sire side and 4Peruvian Latora, Lexus LX and Yukon Denali on the dam side. Alpaca breeders in Canada and the US know the 4Peruvian Legacy and PPeruvian Pluro bloodlines well. Canadian breeders know well that Peruvian Bonanza has produced more fawn ribbon winning alpacas than any other fawn male in Canada. 4Peruvian Latora consistently produces soft lustrous fleeced progeny for our farm and still maintains a 23 micron fleece at 12 years of age. All of her female progeny are held in our breeding program and her male progeny are usually herdsire quality. Lexus is a PPeruvian Pluro great Grand Daughter that will never leave our farm and produced "Yukon Denali", a multiple Supreme Champion winner that exhibits an extremely dense high frequency fleece with nice luster and fineness, and a very handsome head like her sire "Bonanza". Rasputin has inherited all of these characteristcs.
In Rasputin's first show, the 2007 Northlands Alpaca Odyssey he placed first in a large juvenile class and was part of our "Get of Sire Champion" group for Legacy's Golden Boy. We expect Rasputin to do very well and look forward to his future contribution to our breeding program. Limited breedings will be offered to this young male when he is ready to start his breeding career!
